Polyethylene is chemically inert, so your water never picks up any of the metal oxides in aluminum or stainless steel tanks that gives water an after taste. The polyethylene we use is stress relieved, so it can withstand the “rough and tumble” of the land or sea.
SeaFab tanks made of food grade polyethylene are extruded welded with the same polyethylene, which means that the tank and the weld are seamless. Every welded seam is pure air welded and tested according to ASTM standards, as well as subjecting the tank to water testing for 24 hours.
Built in baffles, welded couplings, see through inspection ports are all made part of the finest quality tank you can buy.
Waste tanks made of heavy duty polypropylene with smooth inside welds are easy to keep clean. Unlike metal tanks, the inert plastic allows you to get the inside of the tank absolutely clean of all matter. SeaFab waste tanks are odor free, which is a real plus in close quarters.
